A New Association With Radio Station KICI
I am happy to announce the association with a new low powered radio station in Iowa City called KICI ( Keeping Iowa City Informed)
Two of the members has approached me at the metaphysical fair since they seen I am a radio broadcaster and invited me to be a part of the station. This has been a positive experience knowing they value my input as to what equipment they should be using along with my knowledge and skills to help them build up the radio station from the ground up.
After some talks we decided together that I would need to rename my show for the station so after putting out some ideas as to new names I came up with Iowa Pagan News which seems to be a hit with everyone. This will be a exciting new chapter to the path I walk as a pagan and as a broadcaster.
More to come very soon!

My Dedication To My Guests And To The Public
Ever since I started up my internet radio program a few years ago, the one thing that I knew would be the most important part of what I take to be sincere and very passionate about is the dedication to my guests and the public of being a professional broadcaster.
During the course of the past 4 years of being on the air, I have come to know many great and talented people who create music, writings, spiritual awareness, those who teach others about our history as pagans, witches, druids, shamans and many other spiritual paths. And during that time I have developed good friendships with all of my guests and also a proud sponsor of Moon Books which focuses on authors who are connected to any earth centered religion. I am proud of what they do for their authors and happy they trust me to help those writers to tell people about their books.
To the singer/songwriters who inspire me to do more and to help them take their music to higher levels, and to those who teach their students how to be the best they can for themselves and to others both inside and out so they too can share what they learned to others.
This is what drives me to be on the air and to be a positive source of information, and to be a voice for all pagans worldwide.
I just want to say thank you to all of you who I have come to know and who have become good friends. You are all very important to what I do as a radio broadcaster and I am dedicated to continuing this voyage to discovering new things to bring to all of you.
Music Promotions
Today gave me a new revelation of another reason why I love what I do as a internet radio broadcaster and DJ. I made some new contacts with bands from the UK and here in the states, while talking with the members of the bands online, they each were very happy and pleased that I want to help them get their music out to people not just here locally, but also nationally and internationally.
Over the years I have met some wonderful people who are out there traveling all over the US playing their music for festivals, small gatherings to playing in UU and Unity church's to spread their energy from their songs which tells stories, inspires, and energizes people who love their dedication to their talents.
With music being a passion and something I really love, discovering new music which I know people are going to really like or receive inspiration from created by bands from overseas or right here in the states solidifies my dedication to giving back to not just the pagan community but to everyone in general.
Some people don't truly realize just how important my job can be to the pagan community by being a source of information along with presenting myself as a voice for all pagans is something I take to heart and quite seriously. All I can hope for is to one day be recognized as a internationally known broadcaster.

Disassociate from United Pagan Radio
My time spent broadcasting at UPR was very enjoyable and I had developed a good relationship with the station owner and brought new music and guests to the station which helped UPR to grow.
By the end of 2015, there was the indication UPR was not going to be able to continue broadcasting due to financial situations, it was at that time I was deciding to keep Prairie Land Pagan Radio on the air in what ever form I could as this was very important to me. At that time though the owner of UPR and one other show host had came to me with concerns that I was going to copy their station which was far from the truth as they were doing things much differently than I had plans for.
This led to the owner of UPR to remove me from all time slots all while I was under the impression that it was due to UPR closing down.
Prairie Land Pagan Radio WILL continue to be on the air in a different format and doing what I do best, as I will own the station and continue to bring about the best in programming for all listeners all over the world.

The Origin Of Prairie Land Pagan Radio
The focus for this station is to be A New Voice For All Pagans Worldwide!
This whole adventure stared back in 2010/2011 when I was living in St Cloud, MN with the original station name being St Cloud Pagan Radio.
In the beginning, this was just going to be a hobby for me but then it grew into something much more and people were coming to me right and left to be a part of my show. Guests have expressed their gratitude for my dedication to what I do as they consider my efforts very important to all pagans.

When I moved back to my home state of Iowa, I decided the station needed something new so hence the change to Prairie Land Pagan Radio. Ever since then I have been on the air as much as possible doing interviews with singer/songwriters, musicians, bands, authors, event coordinators and more. Over the years I have developed a rapport with many of the people who have been guests of my radio show and have loved every minute of it. granted this show is not on the air 24/7 as I would like it to be, but I do have plans for the future to have regular pagan programming around the clock every day to broadcast the latest in news , event announcements, and new music to all pagans here in the US and internationally.
Eventually I do have plans to build up a full time brick and mortar radio station that will be all pagan/alternative/spiritually based as it is a passion of mine to be a source of information to all pagans so be watching for further announcements.
As to myself, your host, I am a DJ and Ordained Minister and I have been involved in the music and entertainment industry for over 14 years of serving wedding clients, corporate clients all over the Midwest. I have also served my community in Central Iowa as a volunteer EMT for 3 years which is why I have the passion and commitment for what I do. As your host of PLPR it is my commitment to all listeners to bring them the best programming possible which will address topics people feel are important and should be put out on the air.
More to come soon!
